Aaaargh. Upgrading Wordpress is easy?
Sure, I saw all the complaints about upgrading Wordpress.
All the folks who screwed up their site.
All the warnings about backing up. (I thought I had…I hadn’t)
But I did it anyway. And radiodork.com was killed.
No idea if I’ll ever get my old posts back. Part of me feels good about it, though. This is a chance to start over. New look, new content (hopefully). We’ll see.
In the meantime, head on over to Ask Mr. Biggs, my podcast. The content is intact over there.
Thankfully.

Not sure how you did it, it’s so easy to upgrade a wordpress site, takes only a few minutes, have you considered a new career?

Luckily,…wordpress ain’t my career.
I’d suck socks.
It all comes down to properly backing up! If I had done this correctly, I’d have been done in 10 minutes, old posts intact.

Been through the same thing, as I posted on my blog a few weeks ago. It is maddening to say the least. I don’t know whether I’m supposed to update via dreamhost’s plugin section, or through the blog itself.
Regardless, the newest one that’s available will not be downloaded by me any time soon.
